Tuning Up Your Attitude

Every person in the workplace brings their attitude to work which influences every aspect of their performance.   Whether it is dealing with every day stress, making decisions, managing people, interacting with customers and vendors, or acting in a leadership role, nothing influences the culture of an organization more than the attitude of your people.

John will engage the audience through interactive dialogue including a process that begins with a heightened awareness of the role their attitude plays in their professional and personal life.

Each attendee will take an online attitude assessment prior to attendance. Once there is an established heightened awareness, John begins to identify issues and people that tend to negatively impact their attitude. These “attitude stealers” can dramatically effect performance levels.   John then discusses 20 powerful attitude principles that will empower each person. He also identifies strategies to develop an enhanced attitude that separates you from the average person.

Leadership is a skill that can be learned and enhanced throughout one's life and career.  In this interactive workshop you will begin to learn that being a leader is a choice and a responsibility in your personal and professional lives.  One of the most important concepts you will learn is that leadership is not about position. Being a leader within the workplace, regardless of your title or position, enhances the overall success and potential of your company.

John will walk you through an interactive examination of what it takes to be a leader. You will also be able to take an online Leadership Assessment ahead of time then at the workshop, focusing on your strengths and areas of improvement. Integrating your Leadership Assessment results with the discussion about John’s top ten traits of a leader, you and John will create an action plan to develop in the key areas that define a leader. Becoming a leader within your company's corporate structure will make you a more valuable employee and will make a significant contribution to the success potential of your company.
